Our journey began on the lush banks of the Godavari River, where every meal is a story and every spice carries tradition. In the heart of East Godavari, food isn’t just cooked — it’s celebrated. From the crackle of mustard seeds to the aroma of slow-cooked biryanis and fiery coastal curries, these flavours shaped our roots, our culture, and our memories.

When life brought us to London, we carried those memories with us — the warmth of Andhra kitchens, the love behind every recipe, and the joy of sharing it all. But amidst the rush of city life, we longed for the authenticity of home.

And that’s how Godavari – South Indian Kitchen & Bar was born.
